Info: We are looking to have 20 teams, normal field food (bagels,
fruit, ect) and water, sanctioned observed games, merchandise,
tournament party, and (fingers crossed) a field (maybe 2) with a 2
camera setup filming so teams can have video of themselves. We are in
talks with our broadcasting department on how to make that happen.

We are finalizing the details with USAU on hosting an observer
certification clinic in conjunction with our tournament. Our section
has zero certified observers, so we are trying to solve that problem.
If you are interested in attending the clinic, shoot us an email and
we will forward it on.

Bids: We haven't set the final price yet, but it will be in the $225-
$300 range. It depends on the video deal and observer stuff. We think
we are good at maximizing the things you get at a tournament. This
fall, we hosted a small 7 team tournament, and for $250 teams got tons
of food at the fields (had leftovers after Sunday), pizza at the end
of the day on Saturday, centralized water coolers, nicely lined fields
with pylons, and a pretty sweet party that had free beer for 3+ hours.
We also had some petty sweet discs, along with 5 jerseys. Our
merchandise from last years tournament was extremely popular, so
expect more cool stuff. You can see last years logo on the website,
and the new one will be the same just with the year changed

Northern teams, come on down south to get some early season games in
while there is still snow on the ground at home. Mid Jan temperatures
here are lows around 40 and highs around 55, but it is not uncommon to
reach into the 60s. I know that sounds a lot better than 20 and
snowing.
