Mississippi State Ultimate- Dark Horse
We are a competitive club ultimate team that travels to various tournaments throughout the Southeast. Typically, we attend one or two tournaments each fall to gear up for the college season in the spring. We usually attend 4 or 5 tournaments in the spring in order to prepare for USA Ultimate's sectional, regional, and national tournaments.
We are currently part of the Bama Section, which is made up of teams from Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi, and west Tennessee. Last year's sectional tournament included Alabama, Auburn (A and B), LSU, Vanderbilt (A and B), Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Lipscomb, Samford, Middle Tennessee State, Spring Hill College, Southern Miss, and Tulane.
Our section, as well as the Texas section and the Ozark section (Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma) make up the South Region. The top teams from each section advance to regionals, with the top teams from each region advancing to nationals
